Join Frank for gentle flow yoga at the Ladera Recreation Center! With an extensive background in anatomy and physiology, Frank guides students of all levels through a safe and effective practice, prioritizing proper alignment and injury prevention. His teaching style emphasizes conscious breathwork and mindful movement, encouraging students to explore their limits while honoring their individual needs. Frank is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to explore their practice and foster self-discovery. The primary focus is on the mindful alignment of breath and movement (vinyasa), offering a rejuvenating session to calm the nervous system and foster deep presence. We will explore traditional yoga āsana (postures) with clear, adaptable guidance for every body, empowering you to find your own path within the practice. Set to a specially curated playlist, this class harmonizes the experience, leaving you feeling grounded, centered, and fully refreshed.

Kat Nguyen is a yoga teacher and acrobat dedicated towards making movement more accessible to all backgrounds and experience levels. She began teaching in 2024 with Outsiders at UC Berkeley, completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Bali Yoga Ashram, and has since taught university yoga classes, community-centered flows, and Acroyoga across California, Japan, and Thailand. Kat's classes range from more gentle and grounding yang-to-yin practices to energizing Ashtanga-Vinyasa handstand and inversion flows. Her intention is to create supportive, welcoming spaces where students feel encouraged to explore movement with curiosity and ease.
